ABSTRACT Background: The Clinical Exercise Physiology Association first conducted a clinical exercise physiology practice survey in 2010, with goal to repeat it every 5 y. purpose of this was collect updated data on employment, including salary, scope work, patient population, and job responsibilities among practicing physiologists (CEP). Methods: 2020 disseminated by email through social media attract wide range individuals who reported working as CEP. Results: In total, from 776 responded the were analyzed, which is less participants than 2010 2015 surveys. median salary $56,251, $7,500 higher that 2015. Those master's degree certification had salaries compared those without certification. There difference sex, women earning men did. When mean hourly adjusted for years experience academic degree, sex remained. Conclusion: Median CEPs surveyed increased between 2020. Data revealed benefits obtaining an advanced greater compensation. also show discrepancy based sex. It unclear how ongoing coronavirus pandemic affected current results.
